Yum Yum Bars

I simply had to share this recipe with you because of the name! How could you not like something called Yum Yum Bars. This is a recipe that my daughter and I made this during one of our baking sessions. She discovered that she likes coconut but walnuts not so much. I hope you enjoy it!

1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
6 tablespoons brown sugar

Mix all of the above ingredients in a small bowl. Mix together until crumbly. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

Topping:
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup coconut
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup chopped walnuts (I used pecans and they tasted very good too.)
1 teaspoon vanilla

In a large bowl, mix all of the topping ingredients together. Spread this mixture onto the crust mixture in the pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.
