Apple Cinnamon Bread

This is both an easy recipe and one that makes your home smell heavenly. I’m not sure why but the smell of apples and cinnamon always smells like home to me. I made this recipe for my friends at work and it was a hit. Hope you like it too!

Little tip: If you’re trying to sell your house, especially in the fall, whip up a batch of this bread or something else that smells of cinnamon and/or apples. It can help give your home sell.

2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup canola oil
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup raisins (or nuts)
3 cups chopped, peeled apples

In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, eggs and oil. Add in the flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Mix in the vanilla, raisins (or nuts), and apples. Mix well. Put into 2 greased and floured loaf pans (I like 8 ½-inch pans for this bread.) Put a cinnamon and sugar mixture on top. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1 hour.
